This story is too near the truth of what could happen even in today's enlightened world. I felt sorry for Nena. I truly hoped that the 'gringos' would turn on Constancia, but that would have been too much like a miracle. And no one believes in miracles anymore do they? I am not sure I liked this story. It was cruel.

I did read 'Taken at A Restop' first, after reading this that story didn't seem so bad. The story excited me and at the sametime it revolted me. At least the husband (ex-husband) came around. I'd like to read more of these kinds of stories. That is if you would write them.
